Profile
Amna Salam studies American political institutions using formal models and empirical methods. In particular, her work looks at how actors within the legal system can work strategically to advance their political and ideological objectives. Currently, she is working on various projects considering the incentives and behavior of judges, lawyers, and police officers. She completed a PhD in political science from the University of Rochester in 2023.
