Bylo Chacon Legal Justice Internship Scholarship

The Woven Project, formally the Bylo Chacon Foundation, provides flexible grant funding to organizations that broaden access to human rights at all levels of society around the world. They believe that education, problem-solving, and development can help create positive social change. Recipients are students who work with social justice entities and have a passion for creating a positive change in the community.

Law and Politics Local Internship Scholarship

The Krinsk-Houston Law and Politics Initiative creates a premier pre-law experience that matches the ambitions and talents of UC San Diego's students. This experience includes student instruction, partnerships with local law schools to support our pre-law students, and rich community engagement. Recipients are students who intern with social justice entities such as Legal Aid Society of San Diego, California Innocence Project, Jewish Family Service and other restorative justice-focused legal clinics.

Lynn Schenk Scholarship

Lynn Schenk, a UC San Diego Foundation Trustee, made a generous donation to provide undergraduate scholarship support to serve as encouragement and inspiration to deserving students for generations to come. Recipients are students majoring in Political Science and interested in a career in public Policy.

Drew Harker Scholarship

Drew Harker made a generous donation to support the Krinsk-Houston Law and Politics Initiative which will help connect undergraduate students seeking careers in public affairs, law, and politics, to experiences with policy and law practitioners, and decision makes in the public and private sectors. Recipients are participating in the UCDC and UC Center Sacramento Programs.
