Constitutional and statutory laws that define our rights and regulate our lives.
ALL COURSES FOR THE MAJOR MUST BE TAKEN FOR A LETTER GRADE.
Requirements for Students FA19 and After:
Lower Division required:
- POLI 10 or 10D
- Two (2) from the following introductory sequence lower division courses: POLI 11 or 11D, POLI 12 or 12D, POLI 13(R)* or 13D(R)*

POLI 30 or 30D
Upper Division required:
- Five (5) upper-division Public Law related courses, which includes:
- Three (3) of the following: POLI 104A, 104B, 104C, 104D, 104E, 104F, 104G, 104I, 104J, 104K, 104L, 104M, 104N, 104O, 104P, 104Q, 104T, 104U, 104V
- Two (2) additional courses from the following: POLI 100A, 100B, 100M, 102D, 102L, 104A, 104B, 104C, 104D, 104E, 104F, 104G, 104I, 104J, 104K, 104L, 104M, 104N, 104O, 104P, 104Q, 104T, 104U, 104V
- Seven (7) additional upper division Political Science elective courses from POLI 100 - 199, except for POLI 197 courses.
*If POLI 13(R) or POLI 13D(R) are taken, then only one of the following can be taken for credit toward the major: POLI 13, POLI 13R, POLI 13D, or POLI 13DR.
