Comparative Politics Speaker Series


The UCSD Comparative Politics Speaker Series brings in leading scholars from outside the university. Speakers present their work in progress and interact with PhD students and faculty members in the Department of Political Science and the School of Global Policy and Strategy. The series typically meets in the winter and spring quarters. 


The 2019-2020 schedule is as follows:

  • February 11: Susan Stokes, University of Chicago

  • February 26: Tasos Kalandrakis, University of Rochester

  • March 3: Horacio Larreguy, Harvard University

  • March 12: Dawn Teele, University of Pennsylvania
