The Department of Political Science invites talented majors to work directly with a departmental mentor for the winter and spring quarters. Each student will collaborate with a faculty member or doctoral candidate on the mentor's own research project in the winter and spring quarters. Under the guidance of the mentor the student will write a seminar paper of approximately 20 pages in the spring quarter. Applications received until the end of the fourth week of the fall quarter will receive first consideraiton, but postiions will remain open unitl filled.
Participants in the Local Internship Research Program will receive advanced training in research methodologies and academic credit while working at a local internship. The UCDC Program is an academic internship program providing UCSD students with the opportunity to intern for a quarter in Washington D.C. while enrolling in UC courses and living in the UC Washington Center.
